My best friend likes my brother more than she likes her own boyfriend!
Can you believe that!? My friend SuperMousey has a boyfriend named DS. She has been going out with him since like 4th grade. She has a major crush or as she likes to call “a small obsession” on my brother. Every time she sees him she’s all like,”Hey Austin.” She gets this dreamy look in her eyes too. It’s soooooooooooo annoying! Then every time she sees him at school she “accidentally” almost runs into him. When she tells me about it she all like”OMG! I almost ran into Austin at school today!” She acts like it’s the best thing that ever happened to her. See in third grade she saw him all the time and didn’t care about him at all. Now she is OBSESSED with him. Like two weeks ago she was having problems with her “boyfriend” and she called him and almost broke up with him. Then she decided that she wasn’t mad at him and didn’t brake up with him. Then I asked her who she liked more, her own boyfriend or my brother. You probably already know what she said, but I’m gonna tell you anyway. SHE SAID THAT SHE LIKED MY BROTHER MORE THAN HER OWN BOYFRIEND!One of the rules of having a best friend is that you absolutely CANNOT in any way like of have ant type of crush on their brother or brothers and/or sister or sisters. It’s in the unwritten rules of friendship. Like everyone in the whole wide world knows that. I’m still in shock.
Come on and cut her some slack. you’re making it sound like she’s murdered someone. Liking your brother is just like liking any other guy. you wouldn’t have a problem with it if she liked some other gu same age and all like your brother. plus she’s your friend shouldn’t you care more about how she feels instead of your main problem being the fact that its your brother. Try and put yourself in her shoes you’d think what exactly is the big deal unless you don’t think he’ll treat her right or that she doesn’t deserve him or something. I don’t know what rulebook of frienship you read lol but if my bestfriend likes my brother or vice versa I wouldnt cut her head off, If it was your ex that’s understandable but this is just your sibling and unless you think it’ll ruin your friendship and she’ll tell him everything instead and spend more time with him obviously making you almost lose a friend then I guess. He’s a guy she’s a girl its natural.
